Summer purslane is a very fast-growing summer vegetable with a bright green leaf colour. Mixing with sand makes sowing easier, because they are very fine seeds. Only sow when there is sufficient warmth and certainly do not sow in the open ground before mid-May. Can be harvested approx. 3 weeks after sowing. TIP: also suitable as baby leaf (sowing period: May-August)!
